Stylish and functional, the Canon Pixma MG6851 is a cost-effective multifunction printer suitable for homes. It has standard Wi-Fi connectivity, which allows for mobile printing and even cloud link. The print speed of the Canon Pixma MG6851 for monochrome documents is decent but quite a bit slower for high-resolution images and photographs.

Design

The Canon Pixma MG6851 boasts memory card slots along with the front-load paper tray with closable lid. The control panel has an LCD display, and the flatbed scanner has a cover. This model uses 5 single ink cartridges which can easily be replaced and installed. It also features a 2pl print head.

Advantages

Thanks to the standard duplexer of the Canon Pixma MG6851, paper waste can be reduced in half. With a maximum resolution of 4800 x 1200 dpi, this printer is capable of delivering spectacular images with great details and crisp documents with sharp texts. The Canon Pixma MG6851 can handle different types of media, including glossy photo paper. Borderless printing can be done on media 10 x 15cm to A4.

Disadvantages

Since the Canon Pixma MG6851 has a small footprint, it has limited paper-handling capacity. Optional paper trays are not offered as is an automatic document feeder. There is PictBridge port on the unit, only WLAN PictBridge connectivity is offered.
