    Inks for Canon MX475

The Canon Pixma MX475 printer does use a tri-colour CL-541 / CL-541XL cartridge rather than individual inks for each colour. You might wish to speak to Canon directly regarding advice on purchasing a new printer as we only specialise in supplying the cartridges. There are numerous Canon inkjet printers that use separate colour ink cartridges, the newest of which can be viewed on the Canon website by following the link we've provided:

  • What's the cost of the cheapest Canon Pixma MX475 cartridges to buy? Do cartridges come with the MX475 printer when you purchase it?

    Cheap Canon MX475 ink

It might depend on where you purchase your Canon Pixma MX475 printer as to whether it comes with cartridges although most printers are usually bundled with a set of starter cartridges which contain a minimal amount of ink to get the machine up and running. We don't sell starter cartridges or printers, we only supply the regular replacement Canon Pixma MX475 ink cartridges. We have a low price guarantee on genuine Canon MX475 inks and the cheaper Canon MX475 genuine cartridges will be the standard capacity PG-540 and CL-541 ink cartridges which have less ink than the high capacity PG-540XL and CL-541XL cartridges. We only currently have a compatible Canon PG-540XL ink cartridge which is our best value black ink for this printer in terms of the cost-per-page. All current Canon MX475 cartridge prices are listed on the right-hand side of this page beside each item.

Canon Pixma MX475 Printer Review

Expert review of the Canon Pixma MX475 printer

Our Verdict:

The Canon Pixma MX475 all-in-one is an inkjet photo printer that offers wireless connectivity. It scans, prints, copies, and as fax functions, combining four machines in one compact unit. The device is a suitable choice for sharing around the office or at home, and it allows quick processing of multiple page documents, thanks to its automatic document feeder unit. The Canon Pixma MX475 is a decent choice for an all-in-one device, although it does not offer high-speed printing.

The Canon Pixma MX475 is a sleek and compact device, featuring an all-black design that fits well with almost any office decor. The device features a simple control panel and it sets up easily using wireless connectivity. It has an automatic document feeder that can take in as many as 30 pages at a time, and it uses convenient and easy to replace ink cartridges for quick installation. The Canon Pixma MX475 all-in-one also features a flatbed scanner and a 33.6 kbps built-in fax modem.

In addition to its multifunction capabilities, the Canon Pixma MX475 boasts high-resolution scanning up to 1200x2400 dpi. It supports various printing app solutions like Google Cloud Print, Apple AirPrint, and PIXMA printing solutions app, and it allows direct printing from mobile devices. The device can accommodate high-yield inks for more demanding print loads.

Built for precision printing, the Canon Pixma MX475 is an excellent addition to any office environment. However, it will not do well in very demanding print environments, especially with average print speeds of only 9.7 ipm in monochrome and 5.5 ipm in colour.
