The Citizen IR91 is asmall form factor printer for receipts. The Citizen IR91 dot-matrix printer runs with built-in power supply, as a result it is best for low volume output in a small business.
Design
Weighing approximately 0.4Kg, the Citizen IR91 printer is easily portable, while the palm size design makes it easier to integrate the machine into any business environment. The IR-91 impact printer can accommodate a single standard 2.25-inch roll of paper.
Advantages
Users are alerted when the Citizen IR91 is about to run out of paper or when the internal battery running low. An optional battery pack may be purchased for increased usage, or regular batteries can be used. Quick charging the Citizen unit takes only 1.5 hours. Maintenance is easy with only a single black Citizen IR-91B ribbon to replace.
Disadvantages
Output does not tend to last long and may fade over time when printed using the Citizen IR91 because of the dot-matrix technology. It does not have versatile media handling and can only print in a single direction. The short print-head life and the print speed make the IR91 dot-matrix printer suitable only for low volume output.
