The Epson TM-U295 printer is a dot matrix receipt printer that will quickly prove itself indispensable for any small business. The TM-U295 series is incredibly compact and extremely versatile, perfect for the authorisation of cheques and credit cards, and it finds a wide range of applications in business environments of every kind. With its built-in capability for a very wide range of font operations, and four different print sizes available, the printer can also print horizontally as well as vertically.
Design
The TM-U295 has physical dimensions of 7.08 x 7.51 x 4.01 in and weighs a mere 3.52 lb, so it is small and compact enough to fit handily onto any available surface and be ready to use at all times. It incorporates serial impact dot matrix technology and a 7-pin shuttle to deliver crisp and perfect output text every time, and its print speed is 1.9 to 2.3 lps. Input is the slip paper type and the printer produces two copies as well as the original. There are also built-in top of form and bottom of form sensors.

In a busy customer-facing workplace it delivers what is needed for card and cheque payment processing but nothing more, so payment by an increasing number of other methods is not catered to.
