The WF-C8690DTWFC Epson WorkForce Pro A3 business inkjet MFD is ideal for small to medium workgroups and has a fast first page out time (FPOT) of 5.5 seconds. It can print up to 11,500 pages in monochrome and 8,000 in colour without the need to change supplies due to its large ink cartridges. It is possible to print on a range of media including labels, recycled paper, glossy media and envelopes. The range of software and tools provide efficient scanning and secure printing. With NFC and wireless connectivity, printing is supported from mobile devices and is easy to manage remotely. The smartphone-inspired touchscreen and user interface ensure it is also easy to operate. As well as this, Epson Open Platform and collaboration with ISVs add more solutions such as the print management software PaperCut.

Design

This Epson WorkForce Pro series model has a printing speed of 24 pages per minute for monochrome and colour and a duplex printing speed of 16 A4 pages per minute in both colour and monochrome according to ISO/IEC 24734, as well as a printing resolution of 4,800 x 1,200 dpi. The noise level is 6.8B(A) according to ISO 7779 pattern.

Advantages

The WorkForce Pro WF-C8690DTWF inkjet printer helps keep electricity bills low, reducing environmental impact, and improves the corporate social responsibility (CSR) reputation of a business, making it a cost-saving, high performance option for any organisation. It opens up a wide range of uses for A3 documents including worksheets for classrooms, in-house leaflets, brochure drafts for proofreading and Excel spreadsheets as well as producing A4 documents efficiently and quickly. Organisations can save more money by changing consumables less often and save time with automatic double-sided printing, copying, faxing and scanning.

Disadvantages

The Epson WF-C8690DTWF WorkForce Pro is a good all-round printer for businesses, but some reviewers have said that it can take a bit of time to initialise when first used.
