Maintaining high output and low costs is easy with the Epson WorkForce Pro WF-8690DWF A3 business inkjet printer, a reliable asset for small to medium workgroups. Its low environmental impact will improve any company’s corporate social responsibility (CSR) reputation by keeping electricity bills to a minimum. A3 documents such as brochure drafts, booklets, worksheets for classrooms and Excel spreadsheets are simple and speedy to produce, as are everyday A4 documents. As well as this, its smartphone-inspired touchscreen and user interface means it is intuitive to use, and operators can save time with automatic double-sided printing, copying, scanning and faxing options.

Design

The product dimensions of the Epson WF-C8690DWF printer model are 613 x 755 x 493mm (width x depth x height), and it weighs 45.8kg with a noise level of 6.8B(A) according to ISO 7779 pattern with Epson Premium Glossy Photo Paper. Compatible operating systems include Android 4.0+, Linux, Mac OS X 10.6.8 or later, Windows 10, Windows 7 and Windows 8.1.

Advantages

This Epson WorkForce Pro series model offers low intervention as well as high productivity, with no warm-up time and a first page out time (FPOT) of 5.5 seconds. It can use a range of media including envelopes, glossy media and recycled paper and prints up to 8,000 pages in colour and 11,500 pages in monochrome without the need to change supplies due to its large volume ink cartridges. NFC and wireless connectivity supports printing from mobile devices, and its range of software and tools help manage printing remotely as well as providing security and efficient scanning. Epson Open Platform and ISVs add extra solutions including PaperCut print management software.

Disadvantages

The WorkForce Pro WF-C8690DWF inkjet Epson printer is a good all-round business inkjet printer, but inkjet printers are currently not as fast as laser printers, so this needs to be taken into consideration.
