HP Designjet Z9+ 24-in PostScript Ink Cartridges

Design

This HP DesignJet PostScript printing unit requires nine print cartridges – cyan, yellow, magenta, matte black, photo black, chromatic green, chromatic red, grey and chromatic blue. The user also has the option of a gloss enhancer, for a truly professional finish. The roll feed is for rolls of paper and other media. The HP DesignJet Z9+ 24-in PostScript can also print on rigid media, such as plastic, thanks to other feed options. Connectivity options for this printer include USB and Ethernet.

Advantages

This DesignJet PostScript HP printer model can produce up to 600 square feet of fine quality printing in one hour. The self-encrypting storage space holds up to 500GB. The print resolution is up to 2400 x 1200 dpi in colour, producing sharp, clear images every time. The built-in cutter trims the finished print to the required size. Recognised print languages include Adobe PostScript 3, TIFF and JPEG. A range of software options is provided, including HP PrintOS, HP JetAdvantage Security Manager, HP Applications Centre and the HP Partner Link Pay-per-use.

Disadvantages

A lack of Wi-Fi connectivity could be a problem in some offices. The lack of other functions, such as copying and scanning, could also be problematic, as offices would need a second device for those functions. The large size of the 24-in DesignJet HP Z9+ inkjet printer means that it may not be suitable for use in a small office.
