        The HP Designjet Z6200 42-in is a large format photo and graphics printer ideal for businesses and offices with regular large format print needs. It offers high-resolution printing up to 2400x1200 dpi and it supports many different kinds of print media, including photographic paper and even fine art printing materials. The HP Designjet Z6200 42-in printer takes up different sizes of media rolls including 11 to 42 inch wide paper. However, this 42-in HP Z6200 thermal inkjet printer is quite an expensive unit to own and maintain and it is limited to large format printing and USB connectivity.

        Design

        The HP Designjet Z6200 42-in photo printer measures some 77.5x27.2x53.9 inches. It requires a good deal of workspace for easy operation, which makes it more suitable for offices dedicated to graphics and large format printing. The HP Designjet Z6200 42-in large format printer uses roll media and it features a built-in automatic cutter and a media bin for easy paper handling. It uses HP thermal inkjet technology and a total of eight HP ink cartridges including photo and matte black.

        Advantages

        In addition to versatility in media handling, the HP Designjet Z6200 42-in colour inkjet printer boasts excellent print results, with high resolution outputs up to 2400x1200 dpi. The HP Designjet Z6200 42-in heavy-duty photo printer prints at a steady rate and it has many impressive internal features like the 32 GB memory, and high-speed USB connectivity. The HP Designjet Z6200 printer cartridges contain HP Vivid Photo Ink which enable a wide colour gamut with rich blacks and a unique chromatic red ink that makes tough photo printing challenges a lot more feasible.

        Disadvantages

        However, the Designjet Z6200 42-in only offers limited connective options and it does not have any other additional functions besides large format printing. The HP Z-6200 printer is more appropriate for use in large offices and firms with regular large format graphics printing needs.
