A multifunction inkjet, the HP Deskjet 2180 is designed for homes and small offices, packing a printer, copier, and scanner in one powerful machine. It is a basic unit that does the job quickly and produces professional quality graphics and text. It prints 17ppm in black and 11ppm in colour, and is certainly good enough for medium traffic environments. The HP Deskjet 2180 lacks networking and faxing capabilities, though, which leave small businesses looking at other more advanced models.

Design

The HP Deskjet 2180 looks similar to its F2180 brothers. It measures 7.1x16.8x10.5 inches and weighs about 9.4 pounds, which means even your small desktop can support its weight and bulk. It has a USB port for connecting to your PC, and the paper tray pulls down at the front. The HP Deskjet 2180 uses 2 cartridges – 1 black and the other tri-colour.
