The HP 400l is a basic colour printer mostly found in homes and small offices, good for printing every day documents, although it is not very reliable when it comes to printing graphics and photos. The HP Deskjet 400l colour inkjet printer offers low-resolution outputs, and slow speeds, averaging only 3 ppm.
Design
Offering basic printing functions, the HP Deskjet 400l printer also has a basic design, measuring about 14x7x6 inches, still relatively small for home offices. The Deskjet 400l inkjet printer uses 2 types of ink cartridges, one for black prints, which can produce up to 790 pages before replacement, and the other for colour prints, which can produce up to 640 pages. Connectivity is via parallel port only, and wireless printing is not offered even as an option.
