The compact HP Deskjet 6120 offers excellent features such as a duplexer and an automatic paper-type sensor. This DeskJet printer is ideal for home and personal use and produces high-resolution photos, thanks to PhotRet and its maximum resolution of 4800 optimised dpi. An older, no-nonsense workhorse, the HP Deskjet 6120 does not have an LCD display or PictBridge and memory card readers, though.

Design

The HP Deskjet 6120 boasts a simple and straightforward design, with the paper tray at the bottom and an easy-to-use control panel (including a cancel button) on the right side of the body. It has a standard input tray with a capacity of 150 sheets (upgradeable to 400 sheets) and an optional 250-sheet plain paper tray accessory.

Advantages

With its automatic paper-type sensor, the HP Deskjet 6120 eliminates the often bothersome need to change the paper types in the printer drive. This device boasts long-lasting ink cartridges and a duplexer to reduce paper waste. The addition of the print cancel button makes it easy to save even more paper.

Disadvantages

The HP Deskjet 6120 can't be used for work groups as it does not have a built-in Ethernet or Wi-Fi. It is cheap and basic, so the HP Deskjet 6120 lacks features for easy photo printing, such as an LCD display and a PictBridge for direct camera printing.
