But while it offers the best speed and value for the money and is more than ample for the usual home printing needs, the Deskjet D1600 still experiences the issues that most HP printers are plagued with – paper jams and system hang-ups.

Design

The HP Deskjet D1600 is designed to fit limited spaces. Weighing only 4.85 pounds, it is one of the most portable and lightweight printers around. This inkjet requires 2 cartridges: tri-colour and black. Both Mac and Windows operating systems are compatible with the HP Deskjet D1600. It has an Energy Star rating and is designed to help you save money and resources. The paper-saving printing option for dual-side printing drives printing costs even lower.
