Designed like a personal printing press, the HP's DeskJet F4288 combines the functions of a colour printer, copier, and scanner in one simple, easy to use machine. It allows borderless copying and has a maximum scan resolution of 2400x1200 dpi. The DeskJet F4288 boasts photo printing quality and excellent copy and scan results. However, it does not have the handy PictBridge support its Photosmart cousins have.

Design

At approximately 161.5 x 437.5 x 290.4 mm, the DeskJet F4288 is easy to fit into a bookshelf. It is a compact machine with USB standard connection and a flatbed scanner on the top panel, to the left of which are the controls and the LCD display.

Advantages

The DeskJet F4288 has a maximum print resolution of 4800x1200 dpi, both in colour and black, and boasts incredible print speeds of up to 26 ppm. Scanned images can be saved in a variety of formats, including PDF, JPEG, BMP, and TIFF. The DeskJet F4288 also accepts different kinds of paper media as well as transparencies, and boasts a duty cycle of 3000 pages/month.
