The HP Envy 5542 is an all-in-one desktop printer that incorporates scanning and copying capabilities. It is also web-enabled, with the ability to scan directly to email addresses via a touchscreen. Emails and documents can also be sent to it from smart devices such as smartphones and tablets. The design of this printer is sleek and attractive, and it will complement any modern office. It is designed for desktop use and comes with standard ink cartridges.

Design

The HP Envy 5542 printer measures 19.6x19x8 inches. This compact unit incorporates three machines, capable of colour scanning, digital copying and high-resolution printing. The paper tray can handle 125 sheets of A4 paper and up to 15 sheets of specialist photo paper measuring 10x15cm. It communicates with other devices via a USB port and wireless network, and the print speed is 12 ppm mono and 8 ppm colour. There are copy and scan functions, and the print unit uses standard HP 62 black ink cartridges. It supports HP AirPrint and ePrint, and the 2-inch touchscreen is handy for simple navigation.

Advantages

The design of the HP Envy 5542 is sleek and compact, and copy, scan and print functions produce amazingly good results. The unit has an 11b/g/n wireless connection and the USB cable is sold separately. Weighing in at a mere 7.79kg, it is ideal for any desktop placement and takes care of all your scanning, copying and printing requirements.
