The HP OfficeJet 8015 is a printer that has been designed for small to medium-sized businesses that are seeking a wireless solution to a range of different needs. It is capable of duplex printing, scanning, copying and printing, as well as accessing the web. It can be used to create reports, letters, projects and other materials that contain graphics. Using a wireless connection, it will complete a range of tasks in combination with the manufacturer’s HP Smart app, including copying files and printing documents from a smartphone or tablet.

Design

Ideal for busy workplaces where space is limited, the HP OfficeJet 8015 measures 19.5 x 7.1 x 18.9 inches and weighs 17.2 lb. This means that, despite its multiple uses, it can be slotted on to a shelf or desk without dominating the space. To help users get started quickly, it is equipped with an LCD display screen in full colour. From here it is possible to program in a range of functions and to create shortcut commands. This takes out much of the leg work involved in complicated print jobs and can help to boost efficiency levels.

Advantages

The HP OfficeJet 8015 is equipped with the brand’s Smart Tasks technology. Using this feature, it is possible to simplify a range of day-to-day jobs and save time. To print directly from the internet or access information stored in a virtual environment, users can sync with the Google Cloud Print service or Apple’s AirPrint. Also, this unit is compatible with several operating systems, including Windows from Microsoft and iOS from Apple. The print speed is 18 pages per minute, and this unit can reach a resolution of 1200 x 1200 dpi in monochrome or 4800 x 1200 dpi in colour.

Disadvantages

The HP OfficeJet 8015 is made mainly from plastic and may not be robust enough to withstand busier environments.
