The all-in-one HP PSC 2358 printer is an ideal unit for busy individuals with limited space. It has a small footprint yet it offers print, scan and copy functions. This model has a monthly duty cycle of 5,000 pages and it offers quick print speeds. The PSC 2358 multifunction printer has a high printing resolution and is ideal for photo printing. A USB host isn’t available, though.
Design
The HP PSC 2358 inkjet multifunction printer comes with a paper tray that can be closed up when not in use. This is to prevent dust from entering the unit. The paper tray can handle up to 100 plain sheets or 30 sheets of photo paper. A USB port is available for connectivity as well as memory card readers and a PictBridge port, which allows for direct printing from digital cameras.
Advantages
The HP PSC 2358 all-in-one colour inkjet printer offers a copy and print resolution of 4800 x 1200dpi for colour documents and 1200 x 1200dpi for monochrome documents. This model can deliver black and white documents at 23ppm / cpm and colour output at 18ppm / cpm. Other excellent features of the PSC 2358 photo printer include borderless or direct photo printing and multi-copying of up to 50 pages.
Disadvantages
The HP PSC 2358 printer could use a USB host to allow users to directly print from and scan to thumb drives.
