Design
This straightforward printer has a clear box-type body that weighs 17.2 pounds and is 8.7 inches tall. It is slightly compact at 14.6 inches deep and 18.2 inches wide. HP gave it an 8MB RAM, so it can only print as much as 14 ppm in monochrome and 10 ppm in colour when in 'draft' mode. The HP Photosmart 2100 has a small display screen on top of the user-friendly control panel. The flatbed scanner lies to the left of the controls, and the paper feed and output tray are right below. Users can scan in 1200x2400 dpi resolution and copy at up to 1200x1200 dpi in colour.
Advantages
Even without upgrades, the HP Photosmart 2100 can already produce good picture and graphics quality.
