HP Photosmart 370 Printer Review
Expert review of the HP Photosmart 370 printer
Designed for the serious photographer, the HP Photosmart 370 enables direct printing, is very compact, and features user-friendly controls that allow users to make last-minute adjustments on photos before printing. However, its paper feeder is problematic. It also lacks duplex printing capabilities.
Design
The HP Photosmart 370 resembles a compact toaster with all controls are conveniently located on top. Users can easily view photos and commands on a 2.5-inch flip-up display. The HP Photosmart 370 is compatible with wireless devices via Bluetooth and PictBridge, and can also accommodate popular types of memory cards and flash devices.
Advantages
This printer is especially configured to be a high-end photo printer with 32MB of RAM, which enables it to print colour photos from your PC in just 45 seconds. Wireless connectivity options like PictBridge, Bluetooth, and memory card slots let you print directly from your device, without having to physically connect the HP Photosmart 370 to a computer. The optimised 4800 dpi on colour prints ensure crisp and true-to-life prints that are resistant to fading. The HP Photosmart 370 is also portable, so it can be used for mobile photo booths and by professional photographers who are always on the go. It's easy to adjust photos on the spot before printing.
Disadvantages
The HP Photosmart 370 still uses thermal inkjet technology, and the additional ink cartridges can put a strain on the budget. Duplex printing is not supported by the HP Photosmart 370, so it is not the best choice for document-heavy requirements.
