Compared to newer models, the HP Photosmart C3175 is more affordable. It also boasts excellent print quality, and can scan and copy with excellent resolution and at decent speeds. But because it is from an older line of HP printers, you can't expect the HP Photosmart C3175 to work on newer operating systems like Windows 7.

Design

The grey and white HP Photosmart C3175 is minimal and compact, weighing less than 8 kg. The monthly duty cycle is 300 pages and it features a 100-sheet input paper tray. It features memory card readers, right next to the printing tray and below the power button.

Advantages

The HP Photosmart C3175 prints excellent photos and even has a convenient Photosmart Express button to launch the HP Photosmart Express software on the user's computer. For easier photo printing, memory card slots are provided. The HP Photosmart C3175 also has low running costs and does not waste ink, making it a cost effective choice.

Disadvantages

With the HP Photosmart C3175, you get what you pay for. Because it is basic and cheap, it lacks upgraded features like a fax machine and an LCD display. It is not suitable for printer sharing, as it does not have Ethernet or Wi-Fi.
