The HP Smart Tank Plus 555 printer allows you to print, scan and copy from one device and provides dark, crisp text as well as vibrant colour for all printing, from documents to graphics. It makes it easy to print fade-resistant, long-lasting photos, too, and can help create flyers, borderless brochures and many other kinds of output. The dual band Wi-Fi facilitates fast, reliable connections and the HP Smart app allows users to print, scan and copy from their phones so they can work from anywhere. As well as this, it’s straightforward to connect smartphones and tablets directly to the printer so that documents can be printed without the need to access a network.

Design

The Smart Tank Plus 555 has dimensions of 447 x 373 x 158mm (width x depth x height) and weighs 5.14kg. It also has a seven segment, user-friendly display, making it easy to select functions and configure settings.

Advantages

The 555 printer enables organisations to monitor and maintain ink levels with ease because of its integrated tank design and automatic ink sensor. The high-capacity ink tank system is easy to refill with spill-free resealable bottles, and it prints high volumes at a low cost per page. It offers print speeds of up to 11 pages per minute for monochrome output and up to five pages per minute for coloured, and the 100-sheet capacity input tray and 30-sheet capacity output tray mean less intervention for paper refilling. The printing resolution is up to 1,200 x 1,200 rendered DPI for black and up to 4,800 x 1,200 optimised DPI for coloured documents, providing outstanding quality documents with every print.

Disadvantages

The HP Smart Tank Plus 555 printer is a reliable, cost-effective device, but unlike regular printers that use cartridges, the use of resealable bottles to fill the tanks may prove difficult to some.
