Designed for industrial workstations, the Oki Microline ML182 is a dot-matrix printer that uses 9 pins. It is very reliable and uses ribbon cassettes. Print head life can last for more than 200 million characters while ribbon life is 3 million characters. For connectivity, a parallel port is available and serial is optional. It comes with short tear off plus bottom feed. The Oki Microline 182 printer can handle continuous and cut-sheet media. The ML182 matrix printer is outdated and does not offer modern connectivity options.
Design
The Oki Microline ML182 dot-matrix printer comes in beige and has a black semi-transparent plastic covering the input and output sheet feed. The Microline ML182 has function buttons and knobs to adjust the paper on the sides. Print speed can go as fast as 240 cps on high-speed draft and 50 cps for near-letter quality.
