Samsung SF-370 Printer Review

Expert review of the Samsung SF-370 printer

Our Verdict:

The Samsung SF-370 is a compact and budget-friendly fax machine with time and money-saving solutions for home offices and small businesses alike. The Samsung SF370 fax machine is integrated with technology that reduces common printing and faxing errors, along with advanced communication features to make it more efficient in sending and receiving messages for less. However, Samsung may need to improve the quality of its starter inks and provide more affordable replacement cartridges for the SF-370.

This 2.5kg 14.4Kbps fax machine boasts a compact body that measures approximately 232mm tall, 118mm deep, and 355mm wide without the handset and the paper tray. The SF-370 printer is a monochrome device with a neatly-arranged control panel consisting of one-touch buttons for easy operation. The Samsung SF-370 fax comes with a telephone handset to make it more efficient, and it prints using inkjet technology for long-lasting output and significantly lower running costs.

The copier can produce up to 50 copies from the original and print in 600x300dpi resolution. The Samsung SF370 fax printer uses a CIS scanning method for more accurate output even in monochrome. Fax messages are transmitted or received in at least 6 seconds per page. Up to 50 sheets can be loaded into the Samsung SF-370 and to save time, users can set the 15-page ADF. The device is also integrated with skew-free mechanism to prevent paper jam and uneven output.

The main drawback of the Samsung SF 370 inkjet fax machine is its use of low-yield starter cartridges. Apart from that, the Samsung SF-370’s features are limited to a phone, copier, and fax, eliminating the answering machine and printer capabilities. Some users also find the device noisy.
