The TallyGenicom 2280+ is a dot matrix printer that can handle media as wide as 16 inches. It offers 7 configurations and boasts quick print speeds and high reliability. In fact, the TallyGenicom 2280+ is engineered to operate in extreme environments. It can be used to print everything from bar code labels to multi-part invoices. Unfortunately, this model is quite heavy and bulky.

Design

The TallyGenicom 2280+ measures 24.5 x 16.9 x 10.9 inches and weighs 42lbs. Its control panel on the front comes with function buttons and a status LCD. For connectivity, there are LAN and parallel ports. Scalable fonts and barcodes are pre-installed in the unit. The TallyGenicom 2280+ has an automatic head gap adjustment, which can help in reducing paper jams. Its straight paper path can handle different types of media, including continuous paper.

Advantages

With the TallyGenicom 2280+, users can deliver up to 50,000 pages per month. This model boasts quick print speeds of up to 1,100cps on draft and 185cps on letter quality.
