Ideal for home, school, or office use, the handheld Brother PT-1000P labeller is very affordable. This electronic labeller has special printing options and delivers labels quickly. It has a maximum resolution of 180dpi and it can print on up to 3 tape sizes, 6mm, 9mm and 12mm. The Brother PT-1000P handheld label printer doesn’t have a QWERTY keyboard and only has a manual cutter.
Design
The Brother PT-1000P printer is a limited edition labelling machine that comes in pink to support cancer research. The slim Brother PT-1000P label device can be held with just one hand and it features an ABCD and 123 keypads. The PT 1000P labeller comes with a manual cutter and uses thermal transfer tape technology. This handheld unit has 59 built-in symbols in addition to 8 font styles.
Advantages
Excellent features of the Brother P-Touch PT-1000P handheld labelling machine include text insert, auto formats, mirror printing and vertical printing. It can print on a wide range of adhesives from standard laminated to iron-on fabric. The top speed of the Brother PT-1000P handheld label machine is 10mm per second. It's able to print hardwearing adhesives that can even be used for plant pots, freezer food, tools, clothing, and more. A fraction of the price of the limited edition P-Touch PT-1000P labelling machine goes to the fight against cancer.
Disadvantages
The P Touch label maker 1000P doesn’t include standard triple A batteries yet needs six of them. It also lacks an AC adapter as standard, too. Only 2 fonts are offered and this handheld labelling machine doesn't have rotate printing, horizontal alignment, snapper function or date/time stamp.
