The Brother PT-20 P-Touch label maker is a versatile machine that can create a wide range of labels for any application. It supports colourful tape cartridges and font cartridges can be installed as an option to make it easier to print labels with different colours and letter styles, but the PT20 labeller doesn’t have a more reliable power source.
Design
The Brother P-Touch PT-20 printer measures 8.46 inches wide, 2.17 inches tall and 5.91 inches deep. It's weight, without the batteries, is 0.64Kg. The buffer memory can handle 99 characters at a time, while the phrase memory can handle a maximum of 1,200 characters in 99 storage areas. The LCD screen can display 15 characters in a single line, in 7 x 5 dots. The PT-20 labelling machine relies on thermal transfer technology to produce output on pressure-sensitive tape. The keyboard has 56 keys consisting of 17 function keys and 39 character keys.

The Brother PT20 printer can accomplish labels fast with print speeds of up to 12 characters per second on standard labels.
