It has high print resolution and can deliver labels at a quick speed. The Brother QL-500 personal label printer has user-friendly software and is compatible with Mac and Windows platforms.
Design
The Brother QL-500 printer comes in silver and black housing and has dimensions of 5.7 x 7.6 x 5.9 inches. This model comes with an integrated cutter that can last for thousands of labels. A label exit, indicator light and function button are provided. For connectivity, the Brother QL500 labeller has a USB port. This model can handle continuous and die-cut labels as wide as 2.4 inches and as long as 3ft.
Advantages
The impressive Brother QL-500 thermal labeller has a print speed of 50 labels per minute and it can deliver a maximum resolution of 300 x 300 dpi. This model can continuously copy up to 9,999 labels and it offers features like date / time stamp and barcodes. Aside from printing characters, the Brother QL500 label machine can also deliver clip art. To produce professional looking labels, a P-touch editor is included with the Brother QL-500. This label machine can deliver a maximum print width of 2.3 inches.
Disadvantages
Networking connectivity is offered but is only optional. The QL-500 label printer would be better if it had an automatic cutter and standalone mode. This model is quite bulky compared to typical office label printers.
