      Dymo Junior Printer Review

Expert review of the Dymo Junior printer

      Our Verdict:
      star
      star-filled

The Dymo Junior is a label embosser ideal for personal use. This handheld device can deliver 9mm embossed labels that can be used for putting names on children’s toys and notebooks. It can even be used for office supplies and documents. Around the house, the Dymo Junior labelling machine can label shelves, cabinets, and more. This user-friendly embossing machine is actually quite fun to use.

      Design

The handheld Dymo Junior labeller has a modernised design and comes with a handle that also doubles as a cover for the tape label loader. The Dymo Junior label printer is dominated by the turn and click mechanism that features A to Z and 1 to 0 characters. In between the handle and the dial is the tape exit.

      Advantages

The ultra-durable Dymo Junior embossing label maker has an ergonomic design, making it easy to handle by adults and even kids. This model; doesn’t need batteries to function and can last for a long time. Incorporated tab-cutting is offered and the Dymo Junior labeller has easy-to-load tape cassettes. The front exit shows the embossed character as you make it to reduce errors. For seniors and children, this device comes with a "two thumb" cutting operation. To centre labels, start and stop marks are offered.

      Disadvantages

The Junior embosser is quite simple and is just a modernised version of old label embossers. It has limited labelling options and can only handle 1 size of label cassettes. The Dymo Junior printer also has limited characters and doesn’t even offer lower case letters of the alphabet nor important symbols.
