Your printer warranty is safe
Some people whose printers are less than a year old worry that an own-brand cartridge might invalidate the manufacturer’s warranty. This isn’t true. By law, manufacturers aren’t allowed to invalidate your warranty if you use own-brand cartridges. If something does go wrong and our own-brand cartridges are to blame, we’ll take over the manufacturer’s warranty, offer you phone support and repair or replace your printer if needed.

GREAT SERVICE REPLACED A FAULTY CARTRIDGE NEXT DAY AND TALKED ME THROUGH MACHINE RESET...REALLY HELPFUL

A problem with the most recent HP compatible cartridge supplied, but it was replaced very quickly. Price was correct (in line with other suppliers), next day delivery. Availability and number in stock shown on their web site (useful). Problem with cartridge : horizontal lines across the printed page. From previous experience, know this to be a faulty drum within the cartridge (the cartridges are recycled, and apparently not tested before going on sale once refilled). This happens from time to time with any recycled cartridges from any supplier; CartridgeSave sent a replacement next day, and the new cartridge worked as expected. Over five years we have mainly used refilled cartridges for use on HP4700 machines. Over last three years, print quality of "compatibles" has deteriorated. The firms processing the refills are (I'm told by a print engineer) mainly using cheaper toner (larger particles) which do not give the same print quality as genuine HP originals. Currently, cyan cartridges give the poorest result (blue colour dominates the print, unrealistic colour reproduction), followed by magenta. Yellow and black seem currently OK. If you do a lot of printing and quality output matters, suggest experimenting with different suppliers or running a mix of say two compatible and two genuine catrridges. CartridgeSave give excellent service on the sales side, but they need to monitor the quality of the "compatible" product supplied. We know it can be difficult and we have similar technical problems with other suppliers.

I purchased two cartridges one of which unfortunately did not work. I telephoned cartridge save who said they would replace the faulty one. The very next morning it arrived and works beautifully. Wonderful service x
