Praised for its affordability and reliability, the Brother DCP-L2520DW mono laser all-in-one + Wi-Fi is favoured for small offices and homes. It offers time-saving and resource-saving features like scanning to different destinations, standard Wi-Fi connectivity and a maximum monthly duty cycle of 10,000 pages. With its compact size comes limited options and the Brother DCP-L2520DW wireless mono laser printer has fixed paper capacity and memory.

Design

The compact Brother DCPL2520DW black and white multifunction printer comes with a monochrome LCD display on its control panel along with convenient function buttons. It has a flatbed scanner and a 250-sheet standard paper tray. A manual feed slot for envelopes is also available. For connectivity, the Brother DCP L2520DW mono laser printer has a USB port and Wi-Fi. This unit has a standard memory of 32MB.

Advantages

Thanks to its standard duplexer, the Brother DCPL2520DW wireless laser printer can deliver 2-sided prints automatically. With its standard Wi-Fi connectivity, mobile printing and even cloud printing can be done on the Brother DCP-L2520DW all-in-one with Wi-Fi. Scans can be directly sent to images, files, OCR, and e-mail, as well as SharePoint on PC. Some of the excellent copy features of the Brother DCP-L2520DW MFP include ID copy, N in 1 function, standalone copying and sorting function. The print and copy speed of the Brother DCP L2520DW A4 mono multifunction laser printer can go as fast as 27ppm. Long terms costs can be cut be using the high capacity Brother DCP-L2520DW black toner which lasts for up to 2,600 pages.

Disadvantages

The paper handling capacity of 250 sheets can’t be upgraded and the DCP-L2520DW printer doesn’t come with an automatic document feeder for quicker copying and scanning. A USB host for convenient scanning and printing is also unavailable. The Brother DCPL2520DW mono laser MFP has a fixed memory capacity and optional memory can't be installed to upgrade the printer.
