The Brother HL-5450DN is the network-friendly version of a predecessor. It is a midrange mono laser printer that promises high speed printing and lower running costs for small offices. The HL-5450DN high speed mono laser printer from Brother is quite versatile and compatible with various mobile printing technologies, but some users may find the HL-5450DN inefficient for high volume printing.

Design

This device features a more robust build than its older sibling, yet does not demand much installation space. The Brother HL-5450DN office mono laser printer retains most of its predecessor's features including the top control panel with two buttons, 250-sheet input tray, and a 50-sheet multi-purpose tray. Brother integrated 64MB of memory into the HL5450DN printer. The black toner codes for the Brother HL-5450DN printer are TN3330 (standard capacity) and TN3380 (high capacity). These Brother HL-5450DN cartridges print 3,000 and 8,000 pages, respectively.

Advantages

The Brother HL-5450DN laser printer is ENERGY STAR-qualified, compact, and speedy, clocking in at 40ppm. Graphics remain detailed even when printed in black and white, thanks to the 1200x1200dpi resolution. It is network-ready and compatible with AirPrint, Google Cloud, and Cortado Workplace. The Brother HL5450DN mono laser printer is also praised for versatile paper handling, advanced security options, and the automatic duplexer.
