The Brother HL-6180DWT is the perfect machine for high-volume print environments. It offers extra paper capacity, while still keeping a small footprint. It comes with a long list of features, including automatic duplexing, wired or wireless networking, and even USB connectivity for single computer setups. The Brother HL-6180DWT is the ideal choice for busy offices. However, it does not offer the same flexibility as multifunction units, as it does not offer additional features such as fax, scan, and copy functions, although by keeping the options limited does make the printer easier to use. Many office have more than one printer so only really require one of those to have these additional functions.

Design

The Brother HL-6180DWT has a typical printer box design. It comes with an extra 500-sheet paper drawer, which adds to the unit's total height, but the entire machine is still small enough for desktop operation. It boasts an automatic duplex unit and connectivity interface for wired and wireless networking and USB connection for single computer setup. The Brother HL-6180DWT can be used accommodate 3 different cartridge sizes to cater to different kinds of printing needs.

Advantages

In addition to its additional features, the Brother HL-6180DWT offers AirPrint and Google Cloud Print support for wireless printing. It boasts fast print rates, averaging 42 pages per minute, and it can handle heavy print loads, up to 100,000 pages per month.

Disadvantages
