The Brother MFC-1810 compact mono laser all-in-one printer is aimed at small offices that would like to improve productivity while saving space. It's cheaper to buy the all-in-one MFC-1810 laser printer than to buy a separate fax machine, copier and scanner. The printer itself is efficient in producing high quality monochrome documents fast. However, the absence of colour printing makes the Brother MFC1810 monochrome laser printer less versatile.
Design
The Brother MFC-1810 monochrome laser multifunction centre with fax and ADF is boxy and compact with a 385mm wide, 283mm tall, and 340mm deep frame that weighs eight kilograms. It uses electrophotographic laser printing and connects via high-speed USB 2.0. The ADF can handle up to 10 sheets, while standard paper capacity is 150 sheets for the input tray and 50 sheets for the output bin. There is a 14.4Kbps fax modem with 99 stations for speed dial. The control panel is neat and organised, with a small display screen on its centre, so it's easy to operate on-board.
