Design

This Canon IR-C7565i standalone printer has an exterior engineered in grey/off-white moulded plastic with soft curved lines that are suited to modern office decor. The Canon IR-C7565i features black plastic side output trays as well as a darker panel around the interface area, which helps direct users quickly to the combined push-button and 10.1-inch LCD touchscreen display controls (users can opt for a 10.4-inch upright LCD display control panel should they so desire). The basic machine weighs a hefty 270 kilograms, measures 689 millimetres wide by 941 millimetres deep by 1,220 millimetres tall and has a recommended installation space of 1,913 millimetres by 1,524 millimetres. The fully configured model increases the necessary footprint to 3,818 millimetres by 1,524 millimetres, with space allowed for input and output tray access as well as general machine maintenance.

Advantages

The Canon C7565i is capable of printing or copying up to 65 pages per minute in colour and black and white at a maximum print resolution of 1,200 x 1,200 dots per inch (dpi). It can go from power on to print in 30 seconds or less, with a four-second quick start-up mode also available. The copier can produce a first copy a fast as 4.8 seconds from send. It can read resolutions up to 600 x 600 dpi and print up to 1,200 x 1,200 dpi and has the ability to resize incrementally between 25 and 400 per cent. It can also duplex copies for double-sided tasks and has booklet and finishing as well as other copy features.

Disadvantages

The size of a Canon IR-C7565i when fully configured may preclude its use in some office spaces.
