Fast and compact, the Canon i-Sensys LBP-312x is a good little colour printer with the option to grow with your business and print needs with up to 3 extra paper trays.

Design

The Canon i-SENSYS-LBP-312x is presented in a contrasting black and white finish, but contains a speedy 38ppm colour laser printer. First page printed in 6 seconds for colour and an even quicker 5.1s for mono. The paper tray holds a full pack of paper and can hold a number paper sizes up to A4.

If barcode printing is required, an additional kit can be purchased to help with this.

The Canon LBP 712Cx supports operating systems from Windows Vista, right up to Windows 10 (plus windows server 2003 upwards) plus any version of Mac OS above 10.6.8.

Advantages

Airprint and Google Cloud print are supported by the Canon i-Sensys LBP-312x as well as the ability to print directly from a USB key via the interface on the top of the printer. High capacity cartridges are also supported for busier environments. If you find that your print requirements are increasing, extra paper feeds can also be added.

Disadvantages

On-printer control is via buttons and a numeric keypad, using a 5 line LED screen instead of a touchscreen like many other models in this printer category.
