At a printing speed of 20ppm, this printer is not only extremely fast and efficient, but like its predecessor produces good quality results. If you're looking for a reliable printer for small business use then look no further.

Design

The Canon i-SENSYS LBP-7660CDN is fairly bulky - 414mm(W) x499mm(D) x346mm(H) – this is standard for a laser printer and shouldn't be too much of a concern unless you're really stuck for space. Like all of Canon's I-SENSYS range, the LBP-7660CDN has a 5 line backlight screen – unfortunately the size of the screen makes it difficult to navigate through the printers menus. Thankfully the printer comes with a host of functional buttons that allow you to control the printer with ease without having to access the menu.

Advantages

The Canon i-SENSYS LBP-7660CDN boasts a print speed of 20ppm for mono and colour – this should be more than adequate for small businesses. The printer also comes with a 768 MB of memory as standard, giving it the capacity to cope with large, complex documents and graphics, as well as the strong demands of network printing. The printer is also extremely cost-efficient – during sleep mode the LBP-7660CDN uses just 1 watt of energy.

Disadvantages

Although print speed is decent, the Canon i-SENSYS LBP-7660CDN is let down by its paper capacity. At just 250 sheets it wouldn't take long before it would have to be refilled.
