With the addition of Wi-Fi networking, the Canon i-SENSYS MF-6180dw printer is an unbeatable office device, designed for cost-effective document handling. It prints, scans, copies, and faxes, making the device the perfect solution for all your document processing needs. The Canon i-SENSYS MF-6180dw also supports network capabilities, making it easier to share the device over a workgroup. However, the device is still limited to black and white production and wireless functions can sometimes be unresponsive.

Design

An excellent space saver, the Canon i-SENSYS MF-6180dw packs in 4 different office machines in one. It acts as a printer, scanner, fax machine, and copier that offers many standalone capabilities. Ideal for shared environments, the Canon i-SENSYS MF-6180dw features wired and wireless networking, in addition to its high-speed USB interface to make sure data transfer and processing remains fast even when used over a network.

Advantages

Built for workgroup convenience, the Canon i-SENSYS MF-6180dw boasts advanced features like network scanning and wireless sharing, plus it offers direct to USB scanning and automatic duplex printing/copying. The device also boasts professional scan quality and allows fast fax transmission at 33.6 kbps. The device even offers a user-friendly display and control panel for easy use.

Disadvantages

Ideal for demanding office environments, the Canon i-SENSYS MF-6180dw is the perfect choice for large workgroup networks. However, it does not support colour production and it only offers a maximum input capacity of up to 800 sheets. Print speeds are decent at 33 ppm, but is still slower than other multifunction laser printers that offer the same features.
