The Canon i-SENSYS MF-8550CDN is a colour multifunctional device designed to increase the productivity and improve communications in a small business. Unlike its predecessor, this device includes a fax machine that can transmit messages fast. The Canon MF-8550CDN laser multifunction printer is easy to use, compact, and feature-packed with PCL support, direct printing capabilities, one-touch operational keys, and an energy-efficient engine, yet it produces mediocre output and lacks some important features.

Design

The Canon i-SENSYS MF-8550CDN printer weighs approximately 31Kg and measures 430mm wide, 484mm long, and 479mm tall. The MF8550CDN colour laser printer is distinctive because of the 50-sheet DADF and the medium-sized but simplified control panel with the seven-line LCD display screen. Up to 250 sheets can be loaded into the default input cassette, while the multipurpose tray can handle 50 sheets. Connectivity is via high-speed USB 2.0 and Ethernet.
