Dell B2375dnf Printer Review

Expert review of the Dell B2375dnf printer

Our Verdict:

The Dell B2375dnf mono laser printer is aimed at offices that would like a fast and versatile multifunction printer to save space, improve productivity and save on running costs. It prints, scans and copies. With upgrades, it can also serve as a fax machine. However, the Dell B2375dnf mono multifunction laser printer isn't the fastest workhorse on the market and it lacks built-in wireless.

Design

The Dell B2375dnf printer has a rugged, industrial appearance with a sleek, matte frame, and a 4.3-inch colour touchscreen control panel. The B2375dnf mono multifunction printer is powered by a 1GHz processor and runs on 1GB of memory. Paper is handled by a 50-sheet DADF, 250-sheet standard tray and a 50-sheet multi-purpose tray. The standard output capacity is 400 sheets. The entire machine weighs 16.5Kg and measures 18.2 inches wide, 16.5 inches deep and 18.8 inches tall. Standard connectivity interfaces are a USB host port, Gigabit Ethernet and hi-speed USB 2.0.

Advantages

It's easy to operate with a large touch-screen. The Dell B2375dnf mono laser MFP helps save time with an ADF and a duplexer. It supports mobile printing and works with Apple AirPrint and Google Cloud Print. There are built-in security features in the Dell B2375dnf black and white laser printer. Versatile connectivity options make it easy to print from flash drives. High-volume printing can be handled efficiently by using the high capacity Dell B2375dnf black toner cartridge which lasts for 10,000 prints.

Disadvantages

The Dell B2375dnf is slower than what is expected of the rated print, copy and scan speeds. It already has a high initial price, but users would have to may more for it if they want to upgrade it with a fax kit and increase the paper capacity. It's noisy while printing, and it lacks built-in Wi-Fi. The print resolution of the B2375dnf multifunction printer is limited to 600x600dpi, so the quality of very detailed graphics and high resolution text can become degraded.
