Epson AcuLaser MX20DN Printer Review
Expert review of the Epson AcuLaser MX20DN printer
The all-in-one Epson AcuLaser MX20DN is ideal for small to medium sized offices and workgroups. This workhorse is able to scan, copy, and print. It delivers good quality results at a quick speed as fast as 28 ppm. The Epson AcuLaser MX20DN all-in-one has high paper handling capacity and has optional trays. The Epson AcuLaser MX20DN multifunction printer also has a maximum monthly volume of 20,000 pages and a maximum print resolution of 1200 x 1200 dpi. Unfortunately, the AcuLaser MX20DN is rather bulky and it does not have built-in Wi-Fi.
Design
The bulky Epson AcuLaser MX-20DN laser printer has dimensions of 494 x 430 x448 mm and weighs 18.4 kg. The Epson MX20DN also has an automatic document feeder, which is on top of the flatbed scanner, and also features a duplexer. The paper cassette is at the bottom while the control panel, which has an LCD display and function buttons, is above the output tray. The Epson AcuLaser MX20DN laser multifunction printer can handle as much as 800 sheets with the optional cassettes.
Advantages
Workgroup sharing is easy with the Epson AcuLaser MX20DN mono laser printer as it has Ethernet connectivity and it supports both Macintosh and Windows operating systems. This network-ready printer helps save resources with its automatic document feeder and automatic duplexer. The initial cost of the Epson AcuLaser MX20DN printer is rather low and running cost is also reasonable, thanks to the high-yield toners.
Disadvantages
The Epson AcuLaser MX20DN could be better improved if it had Wi-Fi. Whilst most multifunction printers have 4 functions, the AcuLaser MX20DN from Epson does not have a fax machine.
