The HP Colour LaserJet Enterprise MFP M681f is a top-quality printer that is ideal if you want to keep energy consumption low and have a printer that gives you additional security options. It is a great printer for larger offices with higher workloads and is a multi-function device, giving you copy, scan and fax options. You can customise the print function to suit your workplace with a range of apps and other features.

Design

The unit has been loaded with HP SureStart software, which can protect your printers and the rest of your network from hacks. Unauthorised access to documents is prevented with this feature. The printer can also begin to repair itself if there is a problem. There are programs that run in the background to allow monitoring for potential intrusions. USB, wireless and network connectivity options are all available. The monthly duty cycle is up to 100,000 pages a month, with the recommended maximum printing volume no more than 14,000 pages a month.

Advantages

The HP Colour LaserJet Enterprise MFP M681f offers print speeds of up to 50 pages a minute, and you can add various input trays and document feeders to help maximise the efficiency of the machine. The toner cartridges can give up to 12,000 sheets of printing, so you don’t have to change them all the time.

Disadvantages

The HP M681f’s first page speed is up to nine seconds, which some users might consider to be too long when compared to similar machines. The size of the printer is 51cm x 55.5cm x 65.8cm, which is larger than the average desktop printer. The weight of the machine is 42.3kg, which is quite heavy and certainly too large for one person to move on their own.
