Our Verdict:

The HP LaserJet 2300n is a good choice for workgroups in need of a networkable printer that is powerful enough to handle the demands of the office. It can print a maximum of 30,000 pages in a month and is much faster than the previous 2300 models, averaging 25 pages per minute. The HP LaserJet 2300n network laser printer increases workgroup productivity with its faster print rates and higher expandable memory of up to 304 MB. However, the LaserJet 2300n is only capable of monochrome printing and graphical prints are not as good as those from more advanced models.

Design

The HP LaserJet 2300n printer follows the same design as its LaserJet 2300 brothers, only it offers an integrated network interface for easier network sharing. It has an easy-load paper drawer, while the control panel is simple enough even for first time users. The HP 2300n LaserJet printer has a small LCD display where users can check printer status, error messages and other printer functions.

Advantages

Built for heavy duty use, the HP LaserJet 2300n mono laser printer is a true workhorse. It offers productivity without compromising quality, with maximum print resolutions up to 1200x1200 dpi. While it is not the best graphics printer, it does offer very sharp text quality, which makes it a good choice for offices that mostly print text documents.
