Aimed at small workgroups and busy individuals, the HP LaserJet 5100 TN offers monochrome laser printing and a network-ready interface. It is reasonably fast, prints high quality documents, and can be expanded to accommodate the needs of a growing business, but the absence of some essential features could prevent the LaserJet 5100 TN printer from becoming fully efficient and versatile for contemporary working environments.
Design
This simple device weighs 34Kg, but the HP LaserJet 5100TN family printer is surprisingly compact, measuring 18.7 inches wide, 24.4 inches tall, and 24.6 inches deep. The user-friendly interface is highlighted by the status LCD display screen on-board, which stands above the small control panel adjacent to the output tray. The 3 paper cassettes are installed at the front-face bottom of the HP LaserJet 5100 TN printer, while all connectivity options are located at the rear.
Advantages
High-capacity HP 5100TN toner cartridges are good for 10,000 pages and the monthly duty cycle of the HP LaserJet 5100 TN is up to 65,000 pages, making it efficient for mid to high-volume output. Disadvantages
