The HP LaserJet Enterprise Flow MFP M528dn is a multifunction monochrome printer that also supports scanning and copying, with faxing as an optional add-on. This laser printer has a maximum monthly duty cycle of 150,000 pages. With a recommended monthly volume of 2,000 to 7,500 pages, this printer has adequate volume for most small to medium-sized businesses. Automatic duplex printing is available as standard. Capable of handling a wide variety of paper types, this printer can print on envelopes, labels and cardstock.

Design

The HP LaserJet Enterprise Flow MFP M528dn measures 482 x 496 x 497mm in its standard configuration and weighs 21.41kg. This printer features an 8-inch touchscreen to allow for easy monitoring of print jobs and configuration of scans and copying. A connection can be achieved via USB or Gigabit Ethernet, but Wi-Fi is available as an add-on. It includes an automatic document feeder, which can hold up to 100 pages, to make copying and scanning easier for users. It will easily suit most office designs with its simple off-white and dark grey colour scheme.

Advantages

Supporting AirPrint, HP ePrint, Google Cloud Print and Mopria, this printer makes it easy to print from mobile devices at a print speed of up to 45 ppm. Users will never have to wait long for prints as this printer has a very quick first-page-out time of six seconds. The HP LaserJet Enterprise Flow MFP M528dn is equipped with a default paper capacity of 650 pages, but this can be expanded to hold up to 2,300 pages with additional trays. Featuring a maximum print resolution of 1200 x 1200 dpi, prints are crisp and clear.

Disadvantages

The HP LaserJet Enterprise Flow MFP M528dn is a monochrome-only printer and does not support colour printing. Organisations that print high volumes would be better served by an alternative device.
