The HP LaserJet Enterprise Flow MFP M528f is a multifunction monochrome printer that also supports scanning, copying and faxing. It has a maximum monthly duty cycle of 150,000 pages. With a recommended monthly volume of 2,000 to 7,500 pages, this printer is adequate for most small to medium-sized businesses. This printer includes automatic duplex printing as standard and is able to print on a wide variety of paper types, including envelopes, labels and cardstock.

Design

Measuring 482 x 496 x 497mm in its standard configuration, the HP LaserJet Enterprise Flow MFP M528f weighs 21.95kg. This printer is equipped with an 8-inch touchscreen to allow for easy monitoring of print jobs and configuration of scans and copying. It can be connected via USB or Gigabit Ethernet, but Wi-Fi is available as an add-on. It includes a 100-page automatic document feeder, which makes copying and scanning easier for users. This printer has been designed with a simple off-white and dark grey colour scheme, which allows it to easily fit into most office designs.

Advantages

This printer can achieve prints speeds of up to 45 ppm for letter-sized documents, and it has a quick first-page-out time of six seconds. It supports AirPrint, HP ePrint, Google Cloud Print and Mopria, so printing from mobile devices can be done with ease. The HP LaserJet Enterprise Flow MFP M528f is equipped with a default paper capacity of 650 pages, but this can be expanded to hold up to 2,300 pages with additional trays. It also features a convenience stapler for finishing documents. Prints are crisp and clear with a maximum print resolution of 1200 x 1200 dpi.

Disadvantages

The HP LaserJet Enterprise Flow MFP M528f is a monochrome-only printer and does not support colour printing. Organisations that print high volumes would be better served by an alternative device.
