The HP LaserJet Enterprise Flow MFP M528 is a multifunction monochrome printer that also supports scanning, copying and faxing. This printer has a maximum monthly duty cycle of 150,000 pages and a recommended monthly volume of 2,000 to 7,500 pages. This volume makes it an adequate solution for the majority of small to medium-sized businesses. It features automatic duplex printing as standard and is able to print on a wide variety of paper types, including envelopes, labels and cardstock.

Design

Measuring 482 x 496 x 497mm in its standard configuration, the HP LaserJet Enterprise Flow MFP M528 weighs approximately 22kg. Print jobs can be easily monitored with the help of its 8-inch touchscreen. It can be connected via USB or Gigabit Ethernet, but Wi-Fi is available as an add-on. The printer includes a 100-page automatic document feeder, which makes copying and scanning easier for users. This printer suits most office settings thanks to its simple off-white and dark grey colour scheme.

Advantages

This printer can achieve print speeds of up to 45 ppm for letter-sized documents, and it has a quick first-page-out time of six seconds. Mobile printing has never been easier thanks to the printer’s support for AirPrint, HP ePrint, Google Cloud Print and Mopria. The HP LaserJet Enterprise Flow MFP M528 is equipped with a default paper capacity of 650 pages, but this can be expanded to hold up to 2,300 pages with additional trays. It has a maximum output capacity of 250 pages. It has a maximum print resolution of 1200 x 1200 dpi, which produces crisp and clear prints.

Disadvantages

The HP LaserJet Enterprise Flow MFP M528 is a monochrome-only printer and does not support colour printing. An alternative device might be a better solution for organisations that print high volumes.
