Workgroups looking to increase their productivity can consider this multifunction printer with an efficient copy function, speedy fax facility, and fast warm-up time. The device offers scan-to-email features and helpful finishing options that help users save time. Though the Konica Minolta C224 is marketed as a full-feature machine, it still lacks some potentially important qualities, thereby limiting productivity and expandability.

Design

Weighing approximately 85KG and measuring 615mm wide, the Bizhub C224 stands distinctive in a small or medium-sized office because of the artistically-designed frame with the large touch-and-swipe operator panel on the top right-hand side. Ethernet is standard for easy network integration.

Advantages

It prints at ample speeds for low to mid-volume jobs, at up to 22ppm, and output maintains colour consistency with Simitri HD polymerised toners. The nine-inch control panel of the Konica Minolta Bizhub C224 makes it easier to operate to reduce training time. Many finishing options are integrated to help users save time. The Konica Minolta Bizhub C-224 also boasts a super G3 33.6Kbps fax. Up to 1,000 user profiles can be registered into the system for utmost security.

Disadvantages

The Konica Minolta Bizhub C224 is expensive and heavy. Users may need to give more installation space for the device because it stands 779mm tall and 685mm in diameter, which could get wider and higher with additional paper trays and the automatic document feeder. The Konica Minolta C224 could be better if it had built-in Wi-Fi and card readers.
