The Konica Minolta Bizhub C458 has been designed with the needs of intensive print users in mind, and that’s why it comes with a multi-functional scanner, a large touchscreen for intuitive control, and more. However, it is a heavy device – a fact which is worth taking into account if you plan to move it around.

Design

The Konica Minolta Bizhub C458 comes with several excellent functions. It has cloud connectivity for a wide variety of page formats, including PDFs, XPS, DOCX and more. It also has a number of environmental sustainability benefits to its name, including a toner saving mode. Its scanner has a preview function, an annotation option and a blank page removal setting too. It also offers 250 gigabytes of system hard drive space as standard. Without options, this printer measures 615 x 693 x 961 mm and weighs approximately 110kg. It can print on a wide range of paper sizes and weights.

Advantages

One of the major plus points of the Konica Minolta Bizhub C458 is its high printing speed. It can produce up to 45 ppm both in colour and in monochrome, meaning that high intensity zones such as offices and other environments are fully compatible here. It also has the biggest touchscreen control panel in all of the Konica Minolta fleet, and at 10.1 inches it is akin to using a smartphone or other familiar screen.

Disadvantages

The disadvantages to the Konica Minolta Bizhub C458 are clearly few, but one possible drawback lies in how heavy it is. At 110 kilograms, it is larger than many other printers on the market – so if you need a device that is dynamic and which can easily be moved from place to place, this might not be the option for you.
