The Lexmark M1140 is a great option for many print users, and its high print resolution and high duty cycle are likely to appeal to those who regularly deal with their printer. However, there are also some drawbacks – especially when it comes to speed and processing power. It is a monochrome-only printer and does not support additional functionality such as scanning or copying.
Design
The Lexmark M1140 is compact yet high-powered: with dimensions of 263 x 399 x 382 millimetres, it won’t cause problems if you need to move it around your building or home. It also provides a high print resolution of 1200 x 1200 dpi, and it comes with a duplex printing function. It can deal with a wide variety of media types in the paper handling system, including paper labels and envelopes. In terms of its duty cycle, it can handle a maximum of 100,000 pages per month. It has a recommended monthly page volume of 750 to 7,200 pages.
Advantages
The Lexmark M1140 comes with several benefits, especially in relation to performance. It can load up and print the first page from startup in around 6.5 seconds.
