Our Verdict:

The Lexmark MX-718de is a monochrome multifunction laser printer which can also scan, copy and fax up to A4 size. It is designed for use in a small to medium sized office where it will deliver high quality monochrome prints quickly and reliably. Be aware that this is a large machine so consider where it will be placed if space is limited. To increase workplace convenience, it is possible to store common printing jobs for ease of re-printing. This printer helps reduce your environmental impact with a number of eco-friendly features. However before purchasing consider all printing needs, as this printer has no capacity for colour printing.

Design

In a classic grey coloured case, the Lexmark MX718de has the dimensions 727 x 548 x 578 mm. The printer’s operations are managed from the control panel on the front which includes a 25cm colour touch screen and a key pad. Print resolution is 1200 dpi, print speeds are 66ppm and the monthly duty cycle is 350,000 pages. Paper storage is in a 550-sheet input tray and a 100-sheet manual paper feeder. Capacity can be increased if required by the purchase of additional trays. Connection is achieved from a USB or network interface although a wireless connection can be added if necessary.

Advantages

The Lexmark MX718de has a first-page-out speed of just four seconds so there are no delays to printing. Common documents such as forms can be saved for re-printing. Printing is fast and reliable bringing professional quality results every time.
