Increase workgroup productivity with the Lexmark MX811DPE multifunction printer. Designed for heavy printing, this all-in-one is also a scanner, copier, and fax machine, with scan and email functions. Ideal for shared environments, the Lexmark MX811DPE offers easy networking. It has faster printing rates and it can print a maximum of 300,000 pages per month, however it can only produce monochrome documents.

Design

The Lexmark MX811DPE will fit any office setting, measuring only 1133x663x734 in height, width, and depth. It has a large touch screen colour display and control panel with customisable settings for easy navigation. The Lexmark MX811DPE even features its own duplex ADF and the digital copier doubles as a colour scanner for digitizing documents. The unit has a 1200-sheet standard input and it has a standard built-in memory of up to 1 GB.

Advantages

Large workgroups will benefit greatly from the Lexmark MX811DPE. Designed for heavy-duty printing, this multifunction unit can print as many as 60 pages of high-resolution A4 black prints in a minute. Duplex printing slows it down, but still turns out an efficient 36 spm. The device features a fast fax modem and can do duplex scanning at speeds up to 70 spm.

Disadvantages

Designed for workgroups, the Lexmark MX811DPE has a maximum duty cycle of up to 300,000 prints, but recommended monthly page volume is only 35,000 to maximize the unit's lifespan. The device can also scan in colour, but it uses monochrome printing technology, limiting printed outputs to black and white documents.
